Past Chapter Presidents

Our Chapter has published a list of options on our “Outreach” web page for a number of years, and while these options have always provided great opportunities in the community we have recently begun to try to build some structure around the process.  This “vetting” will likely result in many if not most of our current recommendations remaining as such; however we feel that we need some guidelines in place since the Chapter as well as individual members support many of these organizations.

Our initial effort will be to ensure that these organizations meet the following criteria:

  • they must all accept donations as 501(c)3 entities;
  • they should direct at least 80% of the dollars contributed to their direct mission;
  • they must serve veterans and their families or support military organizations working in the community;
  • and if possible they should have a local presence.

Your Board knows that the current listing cover a wide range of opportunities for both volunteering and financial support; however if you have others that you would suggest for consideration, please let a Board member know.
